each of them has so much subtext with the other two that they just fall naturally into the OT3 arrangement and it disappoints me that they don't get more fic.
Word word word! That's exactly it! Liz/Brig doesn't make sense without the Doctor! Three/Liz makes no sense without the Brigadier! Brigadier/Doctor only makes sense without Liz after she leaves!
And as for the second...well, damn, now you've gone and given me ideas. :D
