[livejournal.com profile] rodlox Ace/Rani -- this is so beautifully fucked up. I'm enough of a Seven/Ace 'shipper that I squeed over The Doctor had left Ace here, as Rani's ward; had warned the Rani that if anything happened to his Companion, the Daleks' fate would be mild compared to Rani's., but you've managed to create a relationship beyond this ground rule in an amazingly small number of words. I'm actually in awe of this one.

Rani/Ten -- Ooh, this is creepy but believable. I'm not a huge Rani fan, so it surprises me that two ficlets with her have touched me so deeply, but they have. Good work, for making me care about a character that I normally wouldn't.

Jack/Susan -- I'm still not entirely clear what happened here, and I mean that in a good way. The idea that Susan had such a horrible future with David is tragic and yet compelling; the future you've painted with her sharing a prison with Jack is even more so. And that final line is a killer.

[livejournal.com profile] stunt_muppet Jo/Three -- That sound you hear? That's my heart breaking a bit. I love how you've captured Jo, not blindingly intelligent, but oh, so very, VERY wise. The paragraph about staying, about seeing things through to the end, that quite broke me.

Two/Polly -- This one put a huge grin on my face. The easy camaraderie was delightful, and I'm always a sucker for a self-confident Polly. You'll never convince me that this one didn't actually happen off-screen.

Brig/Liz/Three -- *snicker* I wish I had more cogent feedback, but I don't. Every time I re-read it looking for more articulate feedback, I break out laughing and forget all words. This is a good thing.

[livejournal.com profile] minerva_fan Barbara/Ian -- Oh, this was lovely. I wish I had deeper feedback for you, but I don't. I'm stuck on "aww.... Love them!"

[livejournal.com profile] allfireburns Jack/Rose/Nine -- This is one of my favorites. I can't believe how much you conveyed in so few words. I love the way you have Rose serving as a conduit for the Doctor and Jack, and yet paradoxically manage to show that what they had between the three of them was about far more than her. The ending in particular is a killer. This is nothing short of amazing.

[livejournal.com profile] netgirl_ys2 Martha/Romana II -- How did you take an angsty opening and leave me chortling? And do it naturally and effortlessly? The understated but definite UST was just delicious icing on the cake.

[livejournal.com profile] aris_tgd Two/Jamie/Zoe/Martha -- I'm amazed at how wonderfully you've managed to capture Two's sense of fun and glee, and the childish fun that characterized his TARDIS teams. I love the idea of Martha having a happy ending with my favorite Team TARDIS; thank you for giving me that visual.

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed all of them!

I'm always a sucker for a self-confident Polly.

Me too - it was one of the most fun things about writing her.

I don't get why there isn't more Polly fic. She can be altogether wonderful.

The fact that she's only got one complete story and one almost-complete story left probably has something to do with it - it took me a long time to feel confident enough to write her, since I didn't have that many examples of her actual voice and speech patterns. The episode scripts were some help, but it's just not as easy as writing for a companion whose serials all survive.

*shakes fist at the burnination*

Oh, wow, I've been failing at checking this post, but THANK YOU SO MUCH. Nine and Rose are both hard characters for me to write, but I swear this story just sprung out of my head fully-formed - very strange, but hey, I'm not complaining. It's one of my favorites of the Whofics I've written so far, and I'm so glad you liked it.
